Hansard is the official record of the proceedings of the House of Assembly of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It is not a strictly verbatim record, but rather a verified and accurate record. Repetitions and redundancies may be omitted and obvious mistakes corrected. Interjections not responded to by the principal speaker are omitted. Hansard has no editorial policy other than the pursuit of accuracy and consistency. This site has been produced from digitised editions of the Hansard, and contains Reports for the years 2001 - 2012, a total of 215 sittings of the Vincentian Parliament.

This website contains versions of the Hansard in both Portable Document Format (.pdf) and HyperText Markup Language (.html). The .pdf version is copied directly from an advance copy of the Hansard of the Meetings of the House of Assembly, Years 2001 - 2002, provided by the Department of the Clerk of the House of Assembly. The .html version are simply “cut and pasted” from the .pdf originals. Given the crude nature of the .html versions, it is highly recommended that readers and researchers use the .pdf source material for the greatest accuracy.

This website is NOT an official site of the House of Assembly of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is preparing a comprehensive revision of the official website of the House of Assembly. At that point, I anticipate that the Hansard will be reproduced on that site. Any errors or omissions on this site are the sole responsibility of this site’s webmaster.

Future updates to this website will include listings of questions by general topic heading, and statements sorted by Member/Senator.
